February 09 - Free Class - Flock

Photos used = 2 x 6x4 cropped to 5.5x4 and 5.5x3

1. Use 1 sheet of orange 12x12 card as the background
2. Matt photos onto yellow card
3. Cut out an 8 inch circle from the Ominous paper. Sand the edges
4. Cut out a 4.5 inch strip and a 6 inch circle from the Gothic paper. Sand the edges
5. Using the black card, cut out a scalloped circle and some swirls (I used Sizzix Thick Cuts to do this)
6. Cut out your title from black card using whatever font suits you (my letters are 2 inches tall)
7. Cover your letters with the black flock. I first covered the surface with glossy accents (I spead it out using a kids glue spreader) and then sprinkled the flock over the letters and left them to dry.
8. Take the 6 inch circle and using a glue pen, and on the black side, go over some of the swirls randomly (do as much or as little as you like) and then sprinkle with the gorgeeous black glitter.
9. Write some journalling on some of the yellow card, I used a rectange measuring 4x2.5
10. Lastly assemble your page as follows:
i. stick down the 5 inch strip 1 inch from the bottom of your page (orange side up)
ii. stick down your glittered 6 inch circle 1.5 inches in from the left hand side, with half the circle covering the strip
iii. stick down your 8inch circle (mine is 0.5 inches from the bottom and 0.25 inches from the right hand side)
iv. Arrange the scalloped circle, swirls and photos over the circles
v. add your title and your journalling block and you are finished!
